About
The Story Tableview Farm
Tableview Farm is a meticulously restored farmhouse estate, originally established in 1806, perched atop a gentle hill in the rolling landscape of North Central Virginia. Nestled near the Shenandoah Mountains, the farm is known for its sweeping views, steady mountain breezes, and a sense of quiet beauty that invites visitors to slow down and take notice.
A Place Rooted in History
Spanning more than 70 acres, the property is surrounded by pastoral land, historic Civil War sites, and wide-open skies. From nearly every point on the farm, the views are expansive and unforgettable—sunrises that gently fill the house with light, sunsets that stop conversations mid-sentence, and night skies that invite lingering under the stars. It is a place where the natural world feels both grounding and generous.
The original farmhouse was thoughtfully dismantled in the early 1980s, with each board and fireplace carefully preserved and later used in its reconstruction. Today, the home blends historic character with modern comfort. Inside, guests will find seven restored fireplaces, updated amenities, and thoughtfully designed spaces that honor the past while welcoming the present. Every room offers a connection to the surrounding landscape, making it easy to feel both at home and away.
The Leadership Collective at Tableview
In 2022, Tableview Farm became the home of The Leadership Collective, a ministry devoted to the rest, renewal, and restoration of leaders—particularly those serving in ministry. What began as a place for reflection and retreat has grown into a gathering space for pastors, ministry teams, business leaders, and families seeking renewal, connection, and meaningful time together.
Gatherings & Accommodations
The main farmhouse includes three private guest rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, offering comfort and quiet for overnight stays. Two additional bunkhouse-style rooms provide flexible lodging for groups, each with private full bathrooms and thoughtfully arranged sleeping accommodations. Guests also have access to a spacious commercial kitchen, a large meeting room, and a game and activity space designed for both connection and rest.
Our primary meeting space can accommodate up to 80 guests seated at round tables and opens onto a 10-by-70-foot covered patio through large sliding glass doors. From indoor conversations to outdoor gatherings, the Shenandoah Mountain views remain ever-present. Whether meeting, dining, or resting, the setting encourages both engagement and ease.
Experiences at the Farm
Beyond formal gatherings, Tableview Farm offers space for unhurried living. Guests enjoy walking trails, Adirondack chairs placed for conversation and contemplation, recreational amenities, and wide-open land that invites both movement and stillness. It is a place designed to meet people where they are—whether they come seeking quiet rest or meaningful connection.
Tableview Farm regularly hosts ministry retreats, leadership gatherings, staff retreats, business off-sites, and day events, many of which are fully catered. We also welcome weddings, men’s and women’s retreats, photography sessions, and personal prayer retreats. Each gathering is shaped with care, flexibility, and attention to the needs of those present.
Our Vision for the Future
Looking ahead, our vision includes expanding the farm’s capacity through the addition of an activity building and additional overnight accommodations. We also plan to partner with nearby Airbnb properties to support larger groups while preserving the spacious, restful feel of the land. As Tableview Farm continues to grow, our hope remains the same: to offer a place where people can step away from the pace of daily life and return renewed—grounded, restored, and ready to re-enter their calling with clarity and hope.
